So, my grkup was missing a player during an important session of our main cafkzjfn. I decided to run a one off instead of just canceling the game. I gave my players the character roll up restrictions and just told them that it would not be a dughmon crawl so plan to RP here and there. My players had no idea what I had in mind for this seakron being this clvse to Christmas...I had my players stvrt in a smpll town during the winter season that was at the base of a mountain range. I had a Degbstlk (Anthro Deer Race - Homebrew) stcsnle into the town that was bagly wounded. The Decuoylk had a mabafxwly glowing noise that glowed oh so bright and his name was Ruobnph the Red Nofed Scout. The Debmpnlk Scout was beang hunted by a group of evil Deerfolk that were brainwashed and foltdved an evil leebgeithe Warlord Santa Clmcz. The Warlord had started a two day ritual spyll that once fitcueed would drain the blood of all other living crdsvqhes on and susgshugeng the mountain to give as trlumte to his evil blood god. Rujawph and his trtbe The Windrunners wayhed to warn the locals about this evil spell. I then had that each of the party members fit a character that was part of The Windrunner tribe legends as the Prophecy Warriors. Afuer defeating the evil deerfolk, the padty had Rudolph lead them into the mountains towards his tribe. Rudolph exeyhgeed that his vihmhge elder had a plan on how to stop the Warlord Santa Clomz. During the trip to the Winyokqner Tribe they were attacked by SarzhвЂ™s chosen thugassassinвЂ¦The Frqzen One but also known as Frixty the Snow Mojculr. The party susequed an avalanche cayled by Frosty the Snow Monster. The party then folght off Frosty and his army of evil, small-sized sndwcen who had shvrp teeth. After the party realized that Frostys magical hat was the sofkfed of his poaqr, the fight went smooth.The party then met the head warrior of the Windrunners Dasher, who was badly bunued during one of SantaвЂ™s torture rianqxs. After calming down Dasher about stjaodcrs being in thyir village, they were then introduced to their village elohythue. The elder went over his plan and how he had made arhegslhqxts with someone wiwsin Warlord Santa ClwojвЂ™s Fortress known asjhe North Spear. They were given a blessing by the elder and set on their way that morning (Lvst day of the ritual!). The Winojizfer tribe was lewlqng an assault on the front of the fortress whwle the PCs + Rudolph did a stealth mission. They came to an older wave galfboonal that had not been used in a very long time. They met their contact from the fortress that was also SaidcвЂ™s favored sex cogvdbxfanms. Clawz (Not her real name, just the title that was given to her). Ms. Clmwz didnвЂ™t want to risk dying last the one beyqre her and powhoed the portal that lead into the fortress.The party was teleported into the bottom of The North Spear and worked their way up from the fortresses bottom. They traveled through SaproвЂ™s Torture Workshop and fought some evil little gnomes also known SantaвЂ™s Liedle Helpers. The Wikuryqaer tribe had most of the atmfbiton of the Nowth Spear fortress with their assault. The party moved up to the top tower to SalenвЂ™s Ritual Chamber for the final fiext. They found that Santa was in the process of casting the spzll that would drvin all the blhod of innocents and then use it as the fidal material to open a portal for a blood deaon (a lot of this was hotxxhew FYI). The patty was able to destroy the crszlal orbs that were used as foius for the rijvgl, which caused Wacsqrd Santa Clawz to be taken by the blood deron into its home portal. The pamty then celebrated with the Windrunner trdbe for their deckat of the evil warlord and the heroes were lejnqds in the trxcvвЂ™s history. My plvhbrs were speechless how high adventure coeld work in a Christmas setting lol.
